Sales Call Follow-Up Video

http://www.VideoIntros.com – SALES TOOL! The intro to this Video Introductions was shot as a follow-up video and the link was loaded into an email draft. Once “our”client, finished his initial sales call, he walked out to his car and immediately sent the email linked with this video to the prospect he just left and made I highly professional impression, as well as giving his prospect an audio visually compelling presentation that could be viewed and passed on at the prospects convenience.

Should I follow up on an interview in email?

Would it be appropriate to follow up on an interview in email? The interviewer didn’t give me his email address, I found it online. I went in for my interview and it went well. Called back to follow up and he had me come in and take the sales apptitude tests. The interviewer travels extensively and its hard to catch him on the phone. Hence the question regarding email.

Since that is the only way you can follow up with him, it is not a bad idea. It shows you are interested in the job enough to find another way to contact the interviewer.

However, if you don’t hear back from him, he may have a spam blocker on that would prevent him from receiving email at that address from those he is not expecting to email. Or he may not have a job for you at this time.

Good luck. I know how hard it is to find work.

Bombed phone interview what should i write in my follow up email?

Just got off the phone and bombed my interview….i was so nervous i apologized 3 times for it and i stuttered so much. It was the worst….how can i write an email to follow up on this….btw its a sales position

Phone interviews can be the worst! I think sending a follow-up email is a great start to try and salvage your chances of landing the position. Calmly type up the email and explain that you are very interested in the position and feel you interview better face-to-face and would love an opportunity to sit down with someone. I wouldn’t acknowledge that you "bombed" the interview, have confidence in yourself.

Sometimes if I let a letter/email sit for a little while (an hour or two), and then come back and read it, I can tweak it a little more and make it sound more professional. Then send it out and hope for the best. Good Luck!

To follow up on an application, should I call or go to the store and ask the manager?

I dropped off my application at a store (sales associate position) on Saturday and it’s been 2 days now and I still haven’t received any calls from them yet.
Should I call them tomorrow to follow up on the application or is it better if I went to the store myself and asked the manager?
And is it too soon to do a follow up? Should I give it one more week?

10 points for the one to answer all questions!

Go to the store and ask for a manager about following up on your application. BUT go during a non peak time. Weekends are usually busy in stores. Whereas a monday or tuesday around 2-4 are slower. You are more likely to be able to sit down and talk to a manager. If you call you are probably just going to talk to who ever answers the phone and they are going to tell you that they will pass the message on (they won’t). Don’t wait. Show initiative. Dress nicely. Don’t wear a business suit but don’t wear jeans and a t-shirt. Put your phone on silent and don’t answer it until you are out of the building (yes, i’ve seen someone answer their phone during an interview). Hope that helps.
