What if you gfriend has an engage ring from previous relationship? Says she is selling, but its been a year?

Excuse: it’s the economy. She reiterates over and over how much was spent on it. Tell me your thoughts please.
She wants to get married. So now does it make sense to keep a previous engagement ring and inaction after a year?
Walk away dude… no wait… RUN… Why does she even still have the ring?? She didnt buy it, she should have given it back when she broke up with this other guy. She is still holding a flame for this other guy I think. Be careful.
If it is all true and she does want to sell it, why would she just not offload it as soon as she could. Who really cares about the money?? No she still cares for this other guy and buy keeping the ring she still has an attachment to him.
