I need help with Microsoft Access?

Ive got three tables
1. Customer
2. Transactions
3. Accounts

I need to create a query that has the following details
- transaction date (transaction table)
- account name (account table)
- debit and credit – in currency (transaction table)
- last name (customer table)

I know you need to set a primary key and then create a relationship between it to create a query. I’m trying to make the above four things the primary key but I get the following error message

“Index or primary key cannot contain a null value”

The tables I’m using was prepared by the university and does not specify any changes we need to make to it, so what do I do?

Null value means that there is no value in the box. Such as you didn’t put customer name, that is null value. Primary key can’t be null value since it is use for indexing. I recommend to use Accounts as primary key since account should not be same as others and can’t be null value.
